Thousand Springs Cabin

This Idaho state historic site is a large square shaped building that may have originally been a grain storage structure. It was modified, possibly during the 1920s, into a family dwelling unit. Associated with the structure are a partially collapsed wood plank privy-outhouse and two underground root cellars, along with a shallow hole that was also probably a cellar. Two areas of weathered broken, milled lumber and boards are located to the east and northeast of the cabin and may represent corrals.

Location: 25 miles northwest of Mackay, Idaho.

Facilities/Fees: None
