King Hill Creek WSA
General Location: Elmore County, Idaho; About 40 miles east of Boise
Natural Features: Scenic, diverse topography characterized by a maze of drainages, ridges, hills and peaks. Its lower elevations are low sagebrush bunchgrass sites, and the upper elevations are typically big sagebrush with scattered groves of aspen and Douglas fir. The area is popular for hunting because of its abundant deer and elk populations.
Total Acres: 29,309
Most of the WSA lies in the Four Rivers Field Office. The eastern quarter lies in the Shoshone Field Office.
