Community input invited on proposed shoreline stabilization at Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area 

The public is invited to comment on three alternative shoreline stabilization alternatives and three shoreline access options proposed for the Indian River Lagoon (Intracoastal Waterway) south of Beach Road Bridge.  Comments are being accepted through January 7, 2010.  Use the following links to review the conceptual designs or view a slide presentation:

Management Plan Update

The Jackson Field Office of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has received public comments on the draft Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse Outstanding Natural Area (ONA) management plan, and is in the process of reviewing the comments and preparing the final plan, which is scheduled to be released to the public in early 2010.
