Making our way into southwestern Arizona, we visit Aravaipa Creek, with century old saguaro cacti and craggy rock spires towering above the creek. Deep in the canyon the banks of this wilderness waterway support a thriving forest community, contrasting sharply with the surrounding Sonoran Desert.
