of BLM land offer outstanding recreational opportunities, ranging from the subtle to
the sublime.
In northern California, the land rises dramatically from sea level to over 4,000 feet
in the King Range National Conservation Area. Hiking the Lost Coast National
Recreation Trail - a 26-mile trek along the state's last pristine stretches of coastline
- is sure to be a highlight of our visit.
