Flying out of Alaska, we cross Canada and re-enter the western United States in Washington, where over 300,000 acres of BLM land is shared and appreciated by both people and "critters!"

Our first stop in Washington State is at Little Vulcan Mountain, located just a few miles from the Canadian border. This 600-acre tract of BLM land provides winter range, cover, and lambing areas for a thriving herd of bighorn sheep.
