urban locale. In east Anchorage, the 730-acre Campbell Tract is an area used by city
residents for both recreational and wilderness activities. A visit to BLM's Campbell
Creek Science Center provides students a chance to learn about wildlife, examine
fungi and lichens, and catch gold-panning fever!
