Definitions

Close-range photography – images taken within 300 meters of the subject

Conventional aerial photography – images taken with a camera from either a conventional aircraft or satellite

Photogrammetry – the science and technology of obtaining reliable measurements from either film-based or digital photography

Stereoscopic image – a three-dimensional view created by taking a series of overlapping pictures

Tracksite - an area that contains both tracks and trackways

Trackway – several tracks made by the same individual

Track - a single footprint
