Produced in conjunction with Distance Learning Integrators, these web-based programs feature three segments:
- a "virtual visit";
- an "Ask the Experts" segment in which BLM specialists answer student questions online; and
- a student journal, which allows educators to assess student learning.

Since 2001, BLM has produced hour-long satellite broadcasts on a variety of topics. Websites for these broadcasts are listed below.
