Join us October 25 for a live one-hour interactive televison program featuring the paleontologists and students who have helped with the project. The show will include video segments of the excavation and a live tour of the laboratory where museum paleontologists will be studying and assembling these and other dinosaur specimens.
During this program, you will be able to:
- See Scientific Inquiry in Action
- Communicate in "Real Time" with Paleontologists Through Fax and Phone
- Compete with Other Schools to Win Prizes
- Take a "Virtual" Tour of the spectacular Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument.
This program is correlated to Inquiry Standards from the National Science Education Standards. It is targeted to the Middle School level, but will be of interest to all ages.
To view it, your school or school system will need to have access to an Analog C-Band Satellite Dish. The program will include associated classroom materials (background, classroom activities, etc) for use with your class before and during the event. To register, and for updates and confirmation of date, time, and downlink coordinates, please check the School Connection age of this website.
