Southwest Resource Advisory Council Canyons of the Ancients National Monument Subgroup to Meet

The Canyons of the Ancients National Monument Southwest Resource Advisory Council's Subgroup will meet to discuss and assemble comment on the Draft Resource Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact  Statement for the National Monument released last October. The meeting will be held on January 25, 2007, from 9 a.m. 4 p.m. at the Anasazi Heritage Center, 27501 Highway 184, Dolores, Colorado. Public comment periods will be offered at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Time limits per person for oral statements may be set to allow all interested persons an opportunity to speak.

The 11-member subgroup provides counsel and advice to the full Resource Advisory Council for its consideration and deliberation concerning  Development and implementation of the management plan. Summary minutes of the meetings will be available for public inspection and reproduction at the Anasazi Heritage Center during regular business hours within 30 days of the meetings.
