Southwest Resource Advisory Council Canyons of the Ancients National Monument Subgroup to Meet The Southwest Resource Advisory Council's Canyons of the Ancients National Monument Subgroup will meet to discuss and assemble comments on the recently released Draft Resource Management Plan and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for Canyons of the Ancients National Monument. The meeting will be held on Friday, November 30, 2007, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Anasazi Heritage Center, 27501 Highway 184, Dolores, Colorado. Public comment periods are scheduled for 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Per-person time limits for oral statements may be set to allow all interested persons an opportunity to speak. The 11-member Subgroup provides counsel and advice to the full Resource Advisory Council for its consideration and deliberation concerning development and implementation of the management plan. Summary minutes of the meetings will be available for public inspection and reproduction at the Anasazi Heritage Center during regular business hours within 30 days of the meetings. In addition, minutes and other information can be obtained from the Monument planning website at: www.blm.gov/rmp/canm.
