Camping: Dispersed camping is allowed throughout this area. Please camp only in existing sites and do not create new sites or fire rings. Vallie Bridge Campground managed by the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Area is also nearby.  Contact the BLM office for information on current fire bans and please follow all fire restrictions. Directions: From Highway 50 just east of Howard turn north on County Road 47.  In a short distance you will come to a "T" intersection, turn left onto County Road 45.  Go another 1.5 miles, turning right onto BLM road #5980.  Parking and the trials area are ahead on your right. Notes: The area is closed to trials use between sunset and sunrise.  Also, the area is closed to target shooting.
