ELEVATION:  6,300 feet – 6,800 feet

LOCATION:  9 miles north of Cañon City, off of U.S. Hwy 50 and Fremont County Road 69

ALLOWED USES: All motorized and non-motorized

 
MILES OF TRAIL: 16 miles
 
TYPES OF TRAIL:  Two-track roads and ATV trails
 
SEASON: September thru June (this area is closed when there are wet conditions)
 
FACILITIES: parking, information kiosk
 
WATER AVAILABILITY: None
 
CAMPING: Dispersed camping is allowed throughout this area. Please camp only in existing sites and do not create new sites or fire rings. Contact the BLM office for information on current fire bans and please follow all fire restrictions. 
 
DIRECTIONS: From Cañon City, head west on U.S. Hwy 50 for approximately 3.5 miles, turn right onto Fremont County Rd 69. Travel north for approximately 8 miles. The trailhead will be on your right.
