BLM SEEKING COMMENTS ON 15 COMMERCIAL RECREATION PERMIT APPLICATIONS IN EAGLE, GRAND, AND SUMMIT COUNTIES  press release  applicant niches

 

Special Recreation Permits (SRP) are required for a variety of recreation activities on BLM public lands.  They are used to ensure public health and safety, protect recreation and natural resources, and ensure the public receives a fair monetary return for certain recreation uses of BLM public lands.

Who needs a permit?

River permit applications were due Dec. 31, 2014.  Please check back in July 2015 to see if there will be a prospectus for the 2016 season (If so, applications will be due Aug. 31, 2015).
