Site Overview: This trailhead lies on property owned by Gateway Canyons Resort, but is open to the public. The trailhead provides access to a series of hiking and biking trails on BLM lands immediately south of the Resort. The trail system provides hikers and bikers with multiple opportunities to experience the geology and ecology of the spectacular red rock canyon country overlooking the confluence of the Dolores River and West Creek.
