  Volunteers Make A Difference

Lend A Hand

Each year, the Bureau of land Management (BLM) relies on volunteers to help accomplish important projects. Last year, the BLM Colorado River Valley Field Office had volunteers that contributed 3063 hours, valued at $55,257.  No matter what your background, age or interest, there are opportunities for you to become a BLM volunteer. Volunteer projects range from one-day tasks to long-term commitments. Opportunities may include building trails, fences or signs; working as a campground host; assisting with range studies; performing administrative support tasks; or maintaining wildlife habitats. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator for additional information at, (970) 876-9000.
