Volunteer Opportunities

  Volunteers Make A Difference!
Lend A Hand

Each year, the BLM relies on volunteers to help accomplish many important projects. Last year, the Colorado River Valley Field Office's volunteers contributed 3063 hours, valued at $55,257. No matter what your background, age or interest, there are opportunities for you to become a BLM volunteer. Volunteer projects range from one-day tasks to long-term commitments. Opportunities may include building trails, fences or signs; working as a campground host; assisting with range studies; performing administrative support tasks; or maintaining wildlife habitats. Contact our Volunteer Coordinator for additional information at 970-876-9000.
