Mineral Materals Mining Form

Normally, mineral materials are taken by an over-the-counter permit from currently established BLM Community Pits. However, if a separate area is to be considered, submit a request letter which addresses the following items in sufficient detail to adequately evaluate the proposed operations through the environmental analysis process. Resource clearances, such as Archeology, Paleontology and Treatened and Endangered species as well as a bond may be required. The ground must be dry and accessible by the Public. Depending on the complexity of the project, normally allow at least 6-8 weeks to process a separate request.
