Wolford Mountain Recreation Area

Wolford Mountain Recreation Area is a multiple- use area. A number of motorized and non-motorized trails, as well as a small off-highway vehicle open area, provide riders with a variety of options. In addition, Sidewinder Extreme 4x4 Jeep Trail is a great place for four-wheel driving. This recreation area also offers opportunities for hiking, mountain biking, camping, hunting and fishing. There are even a few designated snowmobile trails.

Directions:  To the eastern side: from Kremmling, travel east on US-40/Park Avenue. Turn left onto 22nd Street/County Highway 22. Continue for about one mile and then turn left onto County Highway 224. To the western side: from Kremmling, travel west on US-40/Park Avenue and turn right onto County Highway 227.
