Administrative boundary for Canyons of the Ancients National Monument, SW Colorado
Purpose:
To facilitate planning and management of all resources for the monument.
Supplemental_Information:
The boundary has been updated and made coincident with the latest BLM surface ownership layer dated 11/25/2008. A small change was also made where the boundary used in the draft plan was different than the proclaimed boundary. This layer was generated by selecting polygons from the ownership layer assuring coincidence. The new boundary to be used in the final plan has been reviewed and approved by LouAnn Jacobson (Manager of the Canyons of the Ancients NM).
