ADDITIONAL RESEARCH IS PERFORMED

Once assigned to the project, the surveyor will perform additional research for sources of documentary, testimonial, and physical evidence by:

  • Interviewing local residents
  • Contacting absentee and former landowners
  • Visiting professional surveyors (county and private)
  • Checking other common sources of information

    • Survey evidence includes any infomation that tends to prove or disprove the position of a property corner or line.
