BLM seeks comments on grazing permit renewals in Grand, Jackson, Eagle counties (11-30-12)

KREMMLING – The Bureau of Land Management seeks comments on renewals of 23 livestock grazing permits that expire within the Kremmling Field Office boundaries in 2013.

This includes 11 grazing permits on 15 allotments in Middle Park in Grand County, 10 grazing permits on 14 allotments in North Park in Jackson County, and two permits on two allotments in Eagle County near State Bridge.

Details about each permit being considered for renewal, including maps, are available at: http://www.blm.gov/co/st/en/fo/kfo.html

Before BLM begins writing an environmental analysis for these permit renewals, it wants to hear from the public about any general or allotment-specific issues, concerns or information that should be considered as part of this assessment.

Comments will be most help if received by Dec. 30, 2012 to the Kremmling Field Office, P.O. Box 68, Kremmling, CO 80459.

For more information on the permit renewal process, contact the Kremmling Field Office, (970) 724-3000.

Before including address, phone number, e-mail address, or any other personal identifying information in your comments, be advised that your entire comment, including personal identifying information, may be made publicly available at any time. While individuals may request BLM to withhold personal identifying information from public view, the BLM cannot guarantee it will be able to do so.
