McInnis Canyons Advisory Council to meet ThursdayGrand Junction, Colo. — The McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area Advisory Council will hold a meeting at 4 p.m., on Thursday, Jan. 22 at the Mesa County Administration Building, 544 Rood Avenue, in Grand Junction. The meeting will be held in the multipurpose room. Agenda topics for the meeting include: All meetings are open to the public. The McInnis Canyon Advisory Council is citizen-based group that provides guidance and advice on public land planning and management within the 122,300-acre McInnis Canyons NCA, which was designated by Congress in 2000 to protect and conserve its outstanding geologic, paleontologic, cultural, and recreation resources. -BLM- |
