RESOURCE ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETS

The Front Range Resource Advisory Council for the Bureau of Land Management will meet November 15, 2006 in Canon City.

The meeting will be from 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include a discussion on several land management topics including travel management and the Rio Grande Natural Area Act.  The public is welcome to address the Council at 9:30 a.m. with any comments, concerns, issues or questions.

The 15 member Council, all local residents, represent a diversity of public land interests and users.  They advise BLM Managers and provide recommendations on land management programs and issues.

The meeting will be at the Holy Cross Abbey Community Center, 2951 E. Highway 50, in Canon City.  The public is welcome to attend.  Anyone needing further information can call Ken Smith at the BLM office at (719) 269-8500.
