Take Pride In America
Help Clean Up Your Public Lands
GLENWOOD SPRINGS, CO—The Bureau of Land Management Glenwood Springs Field Office is working with High Country 4 Wheelers, the White River National Forest, Code 4 x 4, Inc., Mountain Off-Road Enterprises, and Colorado Custom Cycles in organizing a “Take Pride in America” clean up project. Volunteers are needed for this year’s project, which benefits the Fravert Reservoir and Hubbard Mesa area and is scheduled for 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., April 23.
“Volunteers provide an invaluable service to the Glenwood Springs Field Office, and their stewardship of our public lands benefits everyone—not just the BLM,” said Field Manager Jamie Connell. “These volunteers help the BLM achieve important management goals.”
Volunteers should sign in and meet at the Fravert Reservoir parking lot across the street from the Rifle Ranger District Office on County Rd. 244. Volunteers should come dressed in long pants, sturdy work shoes and leather gloves. For further information, contact Gregg Noss with High Country 4 Wheelers at (970) 963-6084, or the BLM Glenwood Springs field office at (970) 947-2800.
