Northwest Resource Advisory Council to meet November 10 in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, CO—The Bureau of Land Management’s Northwest Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet November 10 at the BLM Grand Junction Field Office, 2815 H Rd in Grand Junction.

The meeting will begin at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to adjourn at 3:15 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, with public comment periods scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Agenda topics include:

· Field Manager Updates
· Roan Plateau RMP Discussions
· Centennial Celebration-American Antiquities Act
· Energy Policy Act Briefing
· Public Comment Period

The Northwest RAC is one of three advisory councils to BLM Colorado. Composed of 15 members appointed by the Secretary of the Interior, individuals serving in each RAC represent a broad range of public land interests, ranging from environmental to local government to commercial activity.
