McInnis Canyons NCA Advisory Council to meet

GRAND JUNCTION, CO—The McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area Advisory Council will hold a bimonthly meeting at 3 p.m., on Wed., April 6, at the Mesa County Administration Bldg., 544 Rood Ave., Grand Junction.

“This Advisory Council advises the Bureau of Land Management in managing the resource area,” McInnis Canyons NCA Manager Paul Peck said. “Council members play a key role in assisting us as we begin to implement the Resource Management Plan approved last year.”

Agenda topics for the April 6 meeting include:
· Update on the NCA Friends Group
· Implementing the RMP
· Supplementary rules for managing the NCA.
· 2005 project updates
