McInnis Canyons NCA Advisory Council to meet

GRAND JUNCTION, CO—The McInnis Canyons National Conservation Area Advisory Council will hold a quarterly meeting at 3 p.m., on Wednesday, December 7, at the Mesa County Administration Bldg, 544 Rood Ave, Grand Junction.

“This Advisory Council advises the Bureau of Land Management in managing the resource area,” McInnis Canyons NCA Manager Paul Peck said. “Council members play a key role in assisting us as we implement the Resource Management Plan approved last year.”

Agenda topics for the December 7 meeting include:
· Recognition of outgoing Advisory Council
· Status of nominations for the new Council
· Transition between outgoing and new Councils
· NCA manager updates
