BLM accepting applications for commercial Special Recreation Permits

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Glenwood Springs Field Office will be accepting applications for new commercial and competitive event Special Recreation Permits (SRP) from Aug. 1 - 31, 2004 for activities planned for 2005. SRP applications will not be accepted after Aug. 31, 2004.

Currently the Glenwood Springs Field Office is not accepting applications for commercial river activities on the Eagle River, the Colorado River from State Bridge to Dotsero, or for commercial big game hunting including lion hunts.
