SOUTHWEST COLORADO RESOURCE ADVISORY COUNCIL TO MEET APRIL 11 IN DURANGO


The Bureau of Land Management’s Southwest Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet on April 11 at the Ft. Lewis College Southwest Center conference room, 1000 Rim Drive, in Durango, Colo. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. and adjourn at 4 p.m.

The meeting is open to the public with a 30 minute public comment period scheduled at 9:30 a.m. and another 30 minute public comment period in the afternoon to begin no later than 3 p.m.

The 12-member RAC is comprised of members from a variety of backgrounds appointed by the Secretary of the Interior to make recommendations to the BLM on public land issues.

Agenda items include routine RAC business, Gunnison Field Office Recreation Management Plan briefing, Canyon of the Ancients National Monument management briefing, Northern San Juan Basin Coal Bed Methane EIS briefing, and a RAC field trip.
