Northwest RAC to meet Nov. 13 in Grand JunctionGRAND JUNCTION--The Bureau of Land Management's Northwest Resource Advisory Council (RAC) will meet Nov. 13 at the Holiday Inn, 755 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, CO. The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. and is scheduled to adjourn at 4 p.m. The meeting is open to the public, with two public comment periods scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Agenda items include an update on the Roan Plateau Draft Management Plan, National Sage Grouse Conservation Strategy, the West Douglas Wild Horse Area, and oil and gas issues. The RAC is comprised of 15 members from a variety of backgrounds appointed by the Secretary of the Interior to make recommendations to the BLM on public land issues. -BLM- |
