BLM Releases Final Wilderness Inventory Findings on the Southeast Cliff Unit near Rifle, Colorado
The Bureau of Land Management has released the final findings of last summers roadless review and wilderness character inventory for the Southeast Cliff Unit on the Roan Plateau, northwest of Rifle, Colorado.
Four comments were received regarding the Southeast Cliff Unit inventory however, no new information was received regarding:
- the presence or condition of man-made structures, facilities or vehicle routes,
- outstanding opportunities for solitude or primitive and unconfined recreation or
- supplemental values
The final results have not changed and are as following:

The roadless review and wilderness character inventory is now completed for the Roan Plateau. The collected inventory information will be used when the Glenwood Springs Field Office updates its Resource Management Plan for the Roan Plateau over the next two years.
