SURVEYOR OPPORTUNITIES IN BLM

Typically, BLM recruits potential surveyors through the Student Education Employment Program as Student Career Employment Program (SCEP) or Student Temporary Employment Program (STEP) participants. On completion of the Land Surveyor Trainee component employees may be converted to an entry level Cadastral Surveyor position without competition. Promotion potential to the journeyman level and beyond comes quickly to the employee who remains flexible in their work location. ABET -The Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) is a federation of 31 professional engineering and technical societies. Since 1932, ABET has provided quality assurance of education through accreditation.
