Wildlife Viewing Tips
This is the "short list." To improve your odds for a good wildlife-viewing experience, get more details from "Ultimate Wildlife Watching."
Use the right tools. A field guide, a pair of binoculars and a comfortable pair of shoes are a good start.
Watch at dawn and dusk. Those are times when most wildlife species are active enough to view.
Keep your distance. Stay on established trails and maintain a distance that is comfortable for the wildlife.
Stay quiet. Move slowly and quietly to increase your chances of viewing wildlife, and to avoid stressing the animals you want to watch.
Do not feed wildlife. There is plenty of food available in the wild. Human food can cause digestive problems, provide improper nutrution and even kill an animal.
