Bill Bumgardner of Boron, California sent this email note on April 24, 2008:

"'The lady' (Miss B's Lady) is doing so well thought you might like to see. You can believe me when I say I made sure she understood whoa real good before we stated working without reins and bridle. We have also worked her with cattle with great results. She gets right in with them and moves them around with no fear."

Matt Sheridan of Tehachapi, California gets to know the mustang he named "Luna" on their first day

Matt wrote on March 31, "She is progressing along and doing excellently in hand. Luna is doing well at trail obstacles such as bridges, jumps, and back through "L". She also has been saddled numerous times and I am getting ready to start some serious riding on her. It did take little longer than expected to get her settled. By this I mean that she was a lot more jumpy about being touched, sudden movement and having things over the top of her. I have noticed that when she latches onto an idea things start moving rapidly in a positive direction."

Shelley wrote in a April 1, 2008 email note, "My Samson is doing great. His training is coming along better than I expected. He wears a blanket every night, is loading in the trailer, I've ridden him 5 times now, he is easy to catch, he is VERY curious of anything new, he is picking up all four feet and has decided grooming is a treat. I've had the clippers on him, but still needs some work with them. When working Samson, his favorite gear is PARK. I tell people he likes park so he can stop, relax and take a snooze. He is very laid back and mellow."

Rachel wrote about the day's training on her website, "Picabo is afraid of things so I am trying to show her everything I can think of...today we introduced her to barrels. At first she was terrified and didn't want to be near them, she progressed to approaching and leaping without hesitation, and didn't even care if she hit them or they moved."

Saunya Bolton and Diva, Good Ride! week 5 in Bishop, CA

The time is just flying by and we are making huge progress everyday. I cannot tell everyone enough about what a great little mare she is. She has learned alot this week. She sidepasses both ways, will do a rollback, performs a slow 360 planting a pivot foot, It isn't quite a fast spin YET. She lopes ok but we still need a whole lot of work. So far she has not been afraid of anything that I have asked.

Andy just got her comfortable with him getting on and off and moving just a bit. Tomorrow he is going to do it all over again. They look so cute Together, you know two little spit fire red heads ready for anything."

From Arpril 5, 2008 email note, Matt writes "She is doing very well. I've had 9 rides on her and today I was cracking the bullwhip, standing on her, roping and dragging a barrel around. We've already rode in the BLM (lands)directly behind my house. I'm enjoying this horse and this experience."
