Description: Perennial 15-35cm high with entire, oblanceolate leaves 15-50mm long. Leaf margins are white in color. Flower calyx is 3-5mm with white-margined, ovate-elliptic lobes. Pink to purple corolla is 13-17mm long. Distribution: Known from southern Nevada, western Arizona, and the Mojave Desert. Known California populations are located near Lavic, CA and also east of Amboy. Also known from a population near Yucca, AZ, one near Jean, NV, and one on the Nevada Test Site. Habitat: Deep, stable sand in outwash canyons and washes, associated with Mojave Desert Scrub, between 700 and 900m.
