Description: Annual herb 4-12 inches tall. Leaves linear, 3/8 - 1 1/8 inches (1-3cm) long. Inflorescence are cymes with flowers containing 5 sepals and 5 petals. Sepals are 1/16 - 1/8 inches (1-3mm) long, and petals are yellow, 1/8 inch (2-3.5mm) long. Fruit are capsules. Distribution: Habitat: Serpentine, chaparral. Elevation 160 - 2560 feet.
