A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

CCNM Office Moved to Santa Cruz
 The California Coastal National Monument (CCNM) office has moved from Monterey to Santa Cruz and is now sharing office space with the US Department of the Interior’s Geological Survey (USGS) Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center.
 
The directions to the new CCNM office are provided below:
 
The USGS Pacific Coastal and Marine Science Center is situated on the west side of the City of Santa Cruz in the University Business Park (the old Wrigley gum factory) building located at the corner of Mission Street and Natural Bridges Drive at the south end of Western Drive and just off Highway One. The entrance to the building is on Mission Street. Enter under the large brown awning. You will need to be buzzed in.
