Operations for the Bureau of Land Management’s California Coastal National Monument will be shifted from Santa Cruz to Sacramento effective May 31, 2013 following the retirement of CCNM Manager Rick Hanks. With this shift in location, the CCNM Santa Cruz Office mailing address and telephone numbers will be discontinued.
Until a new CCNM manager is named, BLM Central California Associate District Manager Ruben Leal will handle the Monument's management coordination. Leal will be assisted by Sara Kaner, a graduate student intern working with the BLM California State Office’s National Landscape Conservation System coordinator. Kaner will handle some of the day-to-day tasks of the CCNM
