Amargosa Niterwort Monitoring Study (PDF, 4.6 mb) Monitoring of the Federally endangered Amargosa niterwort (Nitrophila mohavensis) was initiated in 2010 at its largest occurrence at the Lower Carson Slough near Death Valley Junction, California. This document reports on the results of the first two years of monitoring (2010 and 2011) and discusses a previous sampling effort in 2003.
