A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

Cosumnes River Preserve
Watch migrating and wintering waterfowl on a critical stop on the Pacific Flyway.  Over 250species of birds have been sighted on or near the preserve.  Best wildlife viewing occurs October through February.

View the westside staging area at the west entrance to the South Cow Mountain OHV Area.  The Staging Area is open for day use only.  This camera shows the entrance gate and parking area, and provides another way to check the "open or closed" status of the OHV area during the winter months.

Stornetta Public Lands
Watch wildlife at Stornetta Public Lands, located along the Mendocino County coastline. They include over 2 miles of coastline, the estuary of the Garcia River and adjacent beach, and a small island accessible during low tide. The area offers opportunities for hiking, bird watching, tide pooling, picnicking and photography.  This area can be foggy at times.  Check back later in the day if you encounter a blurry picture.
