Dennis Possehn

Dennis Possehn represents professional forestry on the RAC.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in forestry and is a registered professional forester.  He has 37 years of experience in forestry and timberland conservation in northwest California.  He is involved in forest fuels management programs, biomass projects, and more traditional timber management programs. In addition to working with the Association of California Loggers and the Forest Landowners of California, Mr. Possehn works with the Cottonwood Creek Watershed Group.  He has conducted appraisals for the Wilderness Land Trust and Western Rivers Conservancy on projects to conserve unique natural resources by transferring parcels into public ownership.
