A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

Tim Garrod

Tim Garrod represents the public-at-large and is a charter member and two-time chairperson of the advisory council.  He is the owner/operator of the Garrod Farms and has lived in Lassen County for more than 27 years. 

Tim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in agriculture.  In addition to the Advisory council, Tim has served on the Honey Lake Valley Resources Conservation District, is the past president of the Lassen County Cattlemen's Association, and is a member of the Lassen County Farm Bureau and the Pine Creek Cooperative Resources Management and Planning Group, which brings BLM, Lassen National Forest, local government and private landowners together to work to restore critical watershed in the Eagle Lake Basin.
