John Razetto

Timber

Term Expires 09/19/2012

Mr. Razetto holds a degree in forestry from the University of California, Berkeley and has 50 years experience in the forest products industry. Through involvement in timber sales over the past 40 years, he has a solid knowledge of the northeast California region.

Because of his years of involvement in Northern California's timber industry, Mr. Razetto has gained experience working in a collaborative environment involving timber and environmental interests.  He is active in the biomass fuel industry, an alternative energy source with great potential in the region.  The RAC is assisting the BLM's northeast California field offices in developing the Sagebrush Steppe ecosystem restoration project, which has a large biomass component involving reduction of invasive juniper stands.  Mr. Razetto's knowledge in this area will benefit the RAC and the BLM.
