John Allen Erquiaga

John Erquiaga is a third generation cattle rancher, operating a family ranch in the Surprise Valley, and grazes livestock on BLM-managed public lands.  Mr. Erquiaga represents livestock ranchers on the council and is a respected leader in the valley.  John has held positions on the board of directors for the Surprise Valley Health Care District, the Surprise Valley Electrification Corp. the Surprise Valley Rotary Club, and serves as the fire chief for the local volunteer fire department.
