Gale Dupree represents national and regional environmental interests on the council. Mr. Dupree is an experienced outdoorsman and has been a director for the Nevada Wildlife Federation for more than 20 years. He currently serves on the Nevada-California Sage Grouse working group and is a member of the Sierra Club, Audubon Society, Wilderness Society and Nevada Native Plant Society.
Mr. Dupree has a bachelor's degree in forest recreation from Colorado State University in Fort Collins, Colorado and was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant from the Reserve Officer Training Corps. He completed three years of active duty and 20 year of active service in the Nevada National Guard, retiring as a Colonel. Mr. Dupree is also retired from a second career with the state of Nevada. He lives in Loyalton, California.
