Alan Cain

Wild Horse and Burro

Alan Cain represents the wild horse and burro interests on the council.  Mr. Cain has adopted four mustangs and two burros himself and is active in equestrian related activities.  He is an officer for the Back Country Horsemen of California and has devoted over ten years as a volunteer with the National Wild Horse and Burro Show held in Reno, Nevada each year.

Alan is a 29-year resident of northeaster California.  He is a business owner and operator and is a well respected leader in Modoc County having served on the county grand jury, county board of education, medical center board of trustees and the district fair board of directors.  He has also served on the U.S Forest Service advisory council in Modoc County.

Mr. Cain lives in Alturas, California
