Geary Hund

Geary Hund is the California Desert and Monuments Program director for the Wilderness Society and represents environmental protection interests on the council. 

With a bachelor of science degree in wildlife management from Humboldt State University and other post graduate courses in biology and habitat management, Mr. Hund is an accomplished ecologist and botanist.  His prior experience as a former chief ranger and ecologist for the California State Parks Department and a biologist for the Cibola National Wildlife Refuge gives him extensive knowledge and expertise on desert botany, sensitive species and their habitats throughout southern California.

Mr. Hund lives in Idyllwild, California
