Robert Burke has lived in the California Desert Conservation Area most of his life. He has collected and analyzed over 300,000 wildlife photos and discovered new wildlife behaviors. While serving on the board of the Society for the Conservation of Bighorn Sheep, he has been involved with the reviewing of several alternative energy projects and reduced their impact on the wildlife in a collaborative manner and serves as vice president of that society. Mr. Burke has given wildlife lectures at the Desert Discovery Center, the Mojave River Valley Museum, and the Joshua Tree Little School House Lecture Series. His lifelong knowledge and expertise about the California Desert is an asset to the California Desert Advisory Council.
