A seagull flies over the California Coastal National Monument which stretches along the entire coast of California and extends 12 miles into the Pacific Ocean.  The Monument includes 20,000 rocks, islands, pinnacles and reefs.

Reb Monaco

Elected Official

Term Expires 09/19/2011


Reb Monaco is a San Benito County supervisor and fills an unexpired term as an elected official on the council. 

Mr. Monaco has extensive experience working with disparate groups to achieve collaboration.  In addition to being an elected county supervisor for District 4, he has served as past president of the Hollister Elementary Teachers Association, a member of the Tres Pinos Volunteer Fire Department, member of the San Benito Grand Jury, director of the San Benito County Saddle Horse Association,  member of the Hollister Hills State Off-Highway Vehicle Park Advisory Committee and is a docent at the San Juan Bautista State Historical Park. 

He obtained his education from San Jose State University with a bachelors and masters degree in education.  All BLM public land in San Benito County are in Mr. Monaco's district and he is familiar with the many issues on the public lands.  He is a retired school teacher and resides in Hollister.
